Ok - so not much new. I just wanted to post and document the lasted pic of my fairy WIP. Not much has changed when you look at the pic, but in real life it is much more vibrant than it was.

- I am an artist in mainly oil paintings and pencil drawing. I am far from professional but that is my goal. I think my work is good but will get much better with time and experience. I long to go to the Florence Academy of Art even if just for a trimester. I had art classes once a week with a local artist in Willcox, AZ from 12 - 16 years old. She taught me a lot, but I feel I am only now developing a style of my own.

Progress on Fairy WIP 11-15-08
I am sure there are changes nobody but me will notice, but here it is! She still has a lot of work to go. I love oils but the drying time does make it take forever to finish a painting sometimes.....

My new fairy - WIP 11-02-08
Wow - it has been a year since I posted on here? Well since last November, I have had a baby - so I was pregnant for 9 of those 12 months. This is my first painting in a few months. Getting a trickle of creative juices - hope it turns into a river! Behold - I present to you my WIP fairy 12" x 16" oil on canvas! This is the preliminary sketch and blocking in of colors and theme.
