About Me

My photo
I am an artist in mainly oil paintings and pencil drawing. I am far from professional but that is my goal. I think my work is good but will get much better with time and experience. I long to go to the Florence Academy of Art even if just for a trimester. I had art classes once a week with a local artist in Willcox, AZ from 12 - 16 years old. She taught me a lot, but I feel I am only now developing a style of my own.

My new fairy - WIP 11-02-08



Wow - it has been a year since I posted on here? Well since last November, I have had a baby - so I was pregnant for 9 of those 12 months. This is my first painting in a few months. Getting a trickle of creative juices - hope it turns into a river! Behold - I present to you my WIP fairy 12" x 16" oil on canvas! This is the preliminary sketch and blocking in of colors and theme.
